Ramblers ended the day with a terrific turnout in the Eston arena. Somehow the game didn’t go as planned. Through out the whole first period not one single goal was scored. However, a lot of penalties were given. Second period 3:52 into play Ramblers shook the arena with #21 Tyson Wuttunee, as he astonished the crowd with his power play goal. Also assisting him was #9 Brant Becker & #19 Quinn McLean. Shortly after the power play Macklin managed to tap in a goal past our goalie Johnny Meyer.
Third period Ramblers fans were off their pooper and upon their feet, when #21 Tyson Wuttunee was awarded with a penalty shot 8:36 into play. He managed to get the puck into the net, but the arena was quickly plagued with the refs call for the goal. Two minutes later they received good news it was accepted. Ramblers were ahead 2-1. With ten minutes left of game time, Macklin yet again managed to get another goal. Both teams tied. At this point Ramblers scrambled to settle the score. But with 3:56 left in the game, the stench of stagger filled Ramblers fans and Ramblers faces. Macklin did the unmanageable and scored their third goal finalizing the game 3-2. What happened in this last period that bewildered us all? Ramblers fought with sweet, blood and…well there were no tears. You learn as much from those who have lost as from those who have won. Ramblers will be ready once again to play. Next game Friday November 10, 8:00pm in Kerrobert & Saturday November 11, 8:00pm against Luseland. Great game guys. |
