What's up Duck? |
Edmonton took a commanding two-games-to-none lead in the Western Conference Finals with a 3-1 Game 2 victory Sunday in Anaheim, a carbon copy of Friday's contest. To start things off, Chris Pronger started the game as he wired it past Bryzgalov to give Edmonton an early 1-0 edge. Second period was matched up as the Ducks stopped playing duck duck goose, and made an attempt to score on Roly, success. However, Edmonton had other plans, with a quick recovery with just over two minutes remaining in the middle frame, Samsonov had another dynamite shift. He almost sent Peca in alone on a two on one and seconds later found Pisani, who made no mistake in rifling the puck top corner to make it 2-1. Third Period a lot of back and forth play however, Michael Peca added an empty-net tally in the final minute to make the final 3-1. Oilers lead 2-0, Game 3 in Edmonton Tuesday at 6PM |
