Need an Oil Change?
There was a Storm Warning for the Oilers as the Hurricanes made their way up to Edmonton on Monday and blew things to bits. 8:40 into the period, the Oilers finally struck for the game's first goal. Sergei Samsonov carried the puck over the line before a nice backhand pass to Radek Dvorak who was trailing on the rush. Dvorak threw the puck right back to Samsonov who tipped it past Ward to give Edmonton a 1-0 lead. Yet with their 74 mph winds, 29 seconds after Edmonton made it 1-0, Carolina scored on their first power play of the game. Cory Stillman one-timed a Frantisek Kaberle pass to tie it at 1-1. Mark Recchi's goal late in the second period proved to be the difference as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 on Monday night to take a 3-1 series lead in the best-of-seven Stanley Cup Final. However, Oilers Still Believe. This is it, Oilers make it last for another day, or they sink in Oil. What will the outcome be? CBC 6pm.

It's do or die and tonight, I become what I once hated...and Oiler fan!
