Ducks Take Flight
Ducks grew some wings as they came out flying at the start and rode that wave to their first win of the series. The Mighty Ducks threw the kitchen sink at the Oilers and that seemed to distract the Edmonton-faithful enough to stop any rioting in the streets last night. The Edmonton Oilers were unable to overcome an early three-goal deficit as they dropped their first game of the series. Last time The Oilers won 7 games in a row was in 1990. Last time they played Anaheim in Stanley Cup Playoffs, 1990. Last time they won the Stanley Cup, you guessed it, 1990. Edmonton still leads the Western Conference Final three games to one and have a second chance to wrap up the series Saturday night in Anaheim. The Ducks live to skate another day after beating the Oilers 6-3. But, the series isn't over yet. So get gressed up as the series will shift back down to Anaheim for Game 5 on Saturday. It will be a 7pm start on CBC Saturday night. Wear your Batman Shirt.
