Shinedown
Mama told me when I was young
Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say.
And if you do this
It will help you some sunny day.
Take your time... Don't live too fast,
Troubles will come and they will pass.
Go find a woman and you'll find love,
And don't forget son,There is someone up above.

(Chorus)
And be a simple kind of man.
Be something you love and understand.
Be a simple kind of man.
Won't you do this for me son,
If you can?

Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul,
And you can do this if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.

(Chorus)

Boy, don't you worry... you'll find yourself.
Follow you heart and nothing else.
And you can do this if you try.
All I want for you my son,Is to be satisfied.

(Chorus)

Move Along
Go ahead as you waste your days with thinking
When you fall everyone sins
Another day and you've had your fill of sinking
With the life held in your
Hands are shaking cold
These hands are meant to hold

Speak to me, when all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
Move along
Move along

So a day when you've lost yourself completely
Could be a night when your life ends
Such a heart that will lead you to deceiving
All the pain held in your
Hands are shaking cold
Your hands are mine to hold

Speak to me, when all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
Move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)

When everything is wrong we move along
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
When everything is wrong, we move along
Along, along, along

When all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through
[x3]

(Move along)
(Go on, go on, go on, go on)
Right back what is wrong
We move along

Baseball Fever
Think the Eston Ramblers only play Hockey? Think again. Yes it's true a Baseball team was put together in 1951. There was baseball fever on the prairies. Thirteen Saskatchewan communities hosted teams in three semi-pro leagues -- the Western Canada League, Northern Saskatchewan Baseball League and the Manitoba - Saskatchewan circuit. The leagues also included one Alberta club and four from Manitoba. Dozens of tournaments would dot the baseball agenda with a series of official tournaments to determine provincial champions.

Medicine Hat and Eston shared the top prize money as rain forced the cancellation of the prairie's biggest tournament, the $7,300 Edmonton event sponsored by Red Nixon. On August 7th Medicine Hat reached the final of the $7,300 Edmonton tournament taking a 6-0 lead over Regina and holding on for a 6-5 win. The Eston Ramblers advanced by defeated the Edmonton Aces 8-6. Belmont appeared to be headed for the final after taking a 6-3 lead over Eston with a five-run 6th inning. However, the Ramblers plated three in their half of the inning and added another trio in the 7th.

So with Baseball in the past, and not as popular as it once was...In Eston at least, we can't say were not all counting down the days until those Rambler skates and sticks once again touch down in our arena.

Standing: A. Locke (RF), Andy Porter (P), Robert McKinnon (U), Orlando O'Farrill (SS), Second row: Fred Hucul (C), Lindy Serpa (C), Rudy Fernandez (P), Don Stevenson (CF). Front: Jack McLeod (1b), Art Ramsay (LF), Rinie Lutcher (2b), Jim Shields (3b), Bob Bertram (Manager), Robert Stevenson (U).

Animal I Have Become
I can't escape this hell
So many times i've tried
But i'm still caged inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
I can't control myself

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one would ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
(This animal, this animal)

I can't escape myself
(I can't escape myself)
So many times i've lied
(So many times i've lied)
But there's still rage inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
I can't control myself

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one would ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal

Somebody help me through this nightmare
I can't control myself
Somebody wake me from this nightmare
I can't escape this animal

This animal [x7]

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
(This animal I have become)

A Little's Enough
When all is said and done
Will we still feel pain inside?
Will the scars go away with night?
Try to smile for the morning light
It’s like the best dream to have
Where every thing is not so bad
Every tear is so alone
Like God himself is coming home to say

I
I can do anything
If you want me here
And I can fix any thing
If you'll let me near
Where are those secrets now?
That you're too scared to tell
I whisper them all aloud
So you can hear yourself

Green trees were the first sign
The deepest blue, the clearest sky
The silence came with brightest eyes
Like turning water into wine
The children ran to see
Their parents stood in disbelief
And those who knew, braced for the ride
The earth itself it came alive to say

I
I can do anything if you want me here
And I can fix anything if you'll let me near
Where are those secrets now
That your too scared to tell
I whisper them all aloud so you can hear yourself

Sorry, I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone; I noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this; A Little’s Enough

I’m sorry, I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone; I noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this; A Little’s Enough

I’m sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone; I noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this; A Little’s Enough
I’m sorry I have to say it but you look like you're sad
Your smile is gone; I noticed it bad
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
I promise you this; A Little’s Enough

I’m sorry, I have to say it but you look like you're sad
(just a little)
Your smile is gone; I’ve noticed it’s bad
(just a little)
The cure is if you let in just a little more love
(just a little)
And I promise you this; A Little’s Enough
