Hurricane Stolen
Oilers had the chance to enjoy shark and duck, but how does one stop a storm from happening? Robbed like a thief in the night, Hurricanes season began and ripped buildings, streets and even arenas apart. The Edmonton Oilers threw everything they could at the Carolina Hurricanes. Through four rounds of hockey, a franchise-record 24 playoff games and all the way to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals but in the end, the Oilers dropped the deciding game 3-1 to the Hurricanes as Carolina won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. So the Oilers rest tonight, with bruises, broken bones and of course dreams of O’l Stanley, Till next time Oilers.
