 De JaVu is defined feeling as if one has lived through or experienced this moment before. Now relate this to the last Ramblers game in Eston & last night's game in Leader. First period Leader astounded the minuet Eston crowd by scoring 2 goals, while Ramblers struggled to keep up. Second period Ramblers gain their ground in which they lost with #20 Chris Schlenker unassisted goal 6:01 into play. Leader seemed to be bound by hand & foot, as they made no 2nd period goals.
Halfway through the 2nd period at 10:02 #20 Chris Schlenker decides to go for a little stroll down memory lane as he makes his second goal of the night. Assisting him #22 Dayton McIvor who later breaks into fight way into third. Alongside Dayton, #9 Brant Becker, #12, Darcy Morrice & #20 Chris Schlenker all slumber in the dressing room. Final score 5-2, for the Leader Flyers. Some may ask "What happened?", the answer may never be known, but as for the Ramblers they may have had a little to much food from Christmas break. They have two weeks to get in shape, as their next game will be against the Luseland Mallards who have taken the top position in the league. See yah in two weeks! |
