Slumber
Kindersley Lions were released into the wild last night, and its no mystery what the outcome of this game will be. Kindersley has not even won a single game this season so how can these Lions kill their prey without claws or teeth?

First period Ramblers broke the ice 8:59 with #24 Darren Oliphant starting the hunt off alongside with #22 Dayton McIvor assisting. 11:42 into first #9 Brant Becker scores Ramblers second goal with #19 Quinn McLean assisting. Ramblers don’t stop their, they make their third goal of the night 0:09 left #9 Brant Becker once again takes a strike at this pride of lions with #12 Darcy Morrice assisting. Lions take a swipe at the back-up goalie #30 Mitchell Nash.

Second period Ramblers once again waste no time 5:08 into play #5 Derrick Knight assisting him #12 Darcy Morrice. 7:45 left of second Ramblers once again without hesitancy attack Kindersley with the import from Medicine Hat #20 Chris Schlenker, assisting him #22 Dayton McIvor. Like a new born, Ramblers head out in third period 13:32 in, the remarkable non-stop scorer #9 Brant Becker once again tames this wild Lion. Assisting him #12 Darcy Morrice. 15:37 Ramblers super speedy #7 Nathan McLean short hands a goal, assisting the undersized gopher #33 Joel Switzer. Lions manage to score one more goal, but before they can celebrate Ramblers cut them down 15:09 left of third, with a surprise goal from #44 Matt Owens as he makes his first goal of the season, assisting him #9 Brant Becker. Final 8-3 for Eston Ramblers. Next home game Friday, January 5 8:oo pm.

Ache
Isn't it strange, the way things can change
Life that you lead, turned on its head
suddenly someone, means more than you felt for
house in its yard, turns into home.
Sorry but I meant to say, many things along the way, this ones for you.
Have I told you I ache, have I told you I ache,
have I told you I ache, for you...
Have I told you I ache, have I told you I ache,
have I told you I ache, for you...
The time that it took, writing words for my book, seems to have broken in half
the gate that I shut
last time I got hurt
seems to have opened itself
oh the world is spinnin now,
its tryna catch me up tell me to appriciate,
the here and now
I'm sorry but I meant to say
many things along the way
this ones for you.
Have I told you i ache, Have i told you i ache,
have i told you i ache, for you...
Have I told you i ache, Have i told you i ache,
have i told you i ache, for you...

Luck
Question of the month: How did Oyen Eagles beat Eston Ramblers? Eagles are obviously on some sort of enhancement drug that makes them cheat there way through hockey. Or they are really good at Hockey. If I recall correctly they are in 6th place, that’s 3rd from last. It’s not even possible for a miracle to happen for the Oyen Eagles. Eston Ramblers on the other hand are tied in first with Luseland. So how can a measly team of pimple popping punks, giant hairy men with greasy mullets, and hormonal raged young men slip (literally) past our Ramblers? We have no excuse for this lose. But we have to ask how?
We are not arrogant, or boastful about where we stand, but how we stand. Ramblers stand together, as a team. Oyen however could learn a few things.
I would call this win “luck”. That’s all it was. “Luck”.

So next time Oyen, when you “win” and then parade around the ice with your noses high in the air and your high-pitched girly screams, remember it was only a game, and not the Stanley Cup. So I officially would like to rename the Oyen Eagles to Oyen Seagulls. I’m not bitter, just confused.

Now to the game, 13:34 into first #16 Jeremy Cooper short hands the first Eston goal, assisting was Nathan McLean. Eagles return the favor as they tie up the game.
Second period 1:46 #9 Brant Becker wastes no time and takes the Ramblers into the lead 2-1, assisting was that super swift dumpy gopher, #33 Joel Switzer. Third Period Oyen Eagles once again tied the game, but not long after #9 Brant Becker led the pack, alongside assisting him #17 Donnie Hartsook. 5:37 left of third Ramblers without a doubt had the decapitated eagle’s head in the bag. This is where things get confusing. Oyen scores not once, twice, this takes the Ramblers to overtime and scores 3 minutes into play. This astonished the diminutive Oyen crown and staggered the Eston crowd. I ask the question once again, are miracles possible? If so, how could it happen to the seagulls?

Forever
The Eston Ramblers find themselves in a three-way tie for first place, alongside Leader Flyers & Luselands Mallards. A big thanks to Brant Becker, leading the ferocious Ramblers to many victories, with a scoring record of 15+ goals. First period Ramblers break the ice as #9 BJ. Becker strikes 5:33 into play, alongside #22 Dayton McIvor assisting.

Ramblers still control the lead well into second, but before Kerrobert has any chance, #20 Chris Schlenker breaks one into the tiger's cage, leading the Ramblers 2-0. The Kerrobert Tigers might want to consider a name change, more like the Kerrobert Pussies. However, this cat swipes and sets the score 2-1. Third, Ramblers consecutively shoot the net over & over, but can't seem to make any goals. Yet, with their aching legs, sweaty palms, and sore knees, Ramblers #9 BJ. Becker puts this lazy, tired cat to sleep, and puts ends this dog & catfight 3-1. Next Ramblers game here in Eston Sunday December 17th 6:00 pm where they will fight the Oyen Eagles.

Shiver
Pranking never seems to cease around here. Once again the boys strike without warning. 11:00 pm sharp, 60 boys skulking around the girl’s dorm. However, a slight delay, boys not allowed in the girl’s dorm. That doesn’t stop them; they some how pull a Steve Irwin and draw 20+ girls out into the cold winter night and attack. Not some pettily throwing of snowballs, no, full-sized glacier facewashes, backwashes, what ever you want to call it. Alongside that, being thrown in mounds of freezing wet snow, and completely being covered in white frost. Yes, don’t expect the girls to top our classical winter pranking. All I know is the girls won’t be showering in hot water any time soon.

Stray
Ever wonder if lightning strikes the same place twice? Well it is said it isn't possible, but Ramblers winning two in a row against leader with a score of both being 5-4? It’s possible. 1st period Ramblers fans knew the history of Leader flyers, how they were unbeatable this year. First period 11:27 into game play, #21 Tyson Wuttunee & #5 Derrick Knight, doesn’t waste any time taking the Ramblers into the lead. Huskies tie the game up 1-1, but Ramblers strike back with a Power Play 15:25 into first, as #9 Brant Becker takes this opportunity to score, alongside assisting were #12 Darcy Morrice & #20 Chris Schlenker. Second period Huskies tie the game, but 4:02 in Second, Ramblers once again neuter this Husky on an Eston Power Play, with #12 Darcy Morrice scoring the third goal of the night, assisted by #22 Dayton McIvor & #21 Tyson Wuttunee. Third Period Huskies tie the game up once again. Ramblers had enough, finishing this pooch off 8:05 left in third, #9 Brant Becker once again astonished the fans, assisting him #20 Chris Schlenker. Ramblers finish the game 4-3. Next home game December 8th 8:00 pm.

Cheeky
“Have you ever asked your child a question too many times? My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on him constantly. One day we stopped at Dorm 1 for a quick boys open dorm in between errands. It was very busy, with a full dining room, almost clean bathrooms, & a voluptuous handsome fridge named Filco. While enjoying my brownies from room 1 (apparently I got the last one) I smelled something funny, so of course I checked my other seven-month-old son Joey Jub Jub and he was clean. Then I realized that Olly had not asked to go potty in a while. I asked him if he needed to go, and he said "No". I kept thinking "Oh Lord, that child has had an accident, and I don’t have any clean clothes with me." Then I said, "Olly, are you SURE you didn't have an accident?" "No," he replied. I just KNEW that he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse. So, I asked one more time, "Olly, did you have an accident?" This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants, bent over, spread his cheeks and yelled "SEE MOM, IT'S JUST FARTS!!"
